Hills and Dales Courses

Print

There are two regulation 18-hole courses at Tam O'Shanter: The "Hills" and the "Dales".

Leonard Macomber designed the Dales Course after working on other golf projects under the legendary architect Donald Ross. Merle Paul, designer of the Hills Course, was associated with Macomber throughout the development of Tam O'Shanter. Both the Hills and Dales courses are traditional designs in the Donald Ross tradition.

Although both Tam O'Shanter Courses were designed during American golf's first "golden era", we have updated them over the years to provide a friendly challenge for players of every skill level, including men, women, beginners, and children. Today's Tam O'Shanter courses are irrigated tee to green and have multiple tee placements.
